The Lord has been so good to Noah and I, and at times I stop and start thinking about the good, the joy, the blessings our lives are filled with, and I am so humbled. Its in these moments that the goodness of God is so evident and real. We do not deserve anything, in fact its Jesus who deserves everything, He died on the cross for us. Yet even though He sacrificed His life for us, that wasn't it, He wants to continue to shower our lives with his abundance, joy, and hope. I am so thankful He captured my heart, and has never let me go.

Its Been a Year...

A year ago today, I started my new job in the operating room...Wow has it ALREADY been a year. I changed specialties drastically, went from OB/Labor and Delivery, to operating room, but I have to admit, the change has been a breath of fresh air. There are moments when I miss experiencing the miracle it is to see families welcome their child into the world. I also worked with some pretty amazing women at my previous job. I have become more competent in my new job responsibilities, making my days so enjoyable. The anxiety and stress of the job are slowly dissipating! Praise the Lord. It has been 4 years since I graduated from nursing school, and wow never thought it would take this long to feel established, somewhat, as a nurse. I definitely feel that I am where the Lord desires me to be for now, and I hope and pray I can share His love and grace in my life with all those I come into contact with.

Nothing else new is going on the King household...so Ill share some pictures. The first two are from St. Augustine, the last two are from St. Lucia...Im ready for another vacation, I mentioned Hawaii to Noah the other day and he laughed! I'll just go without him;)

So I decided to start a blog...

So, I decided to go ahead and start a personal blog. I have been following several blogs for quite some time now, and have been wanting to start my own to have a place to put memories that I can readily come back to. Also, I love to write, I have a number of completed journals sitting in a closet! Ha! Dorky I know, but I love to look back and see what I was going through, thinking about, etc. I have to say the majority of my journaling are prayers, but this blog will likely be a mix of sharing my life, thoughts, prayers...mainly for my own pleasure and keepsake.
